Herzau – Liberia

Inspired by Binyavanga Wainaina’s famous essay “How to write about Africa”, the photographer Andreas Herzau travelled to Liberia in 2019 and tried to see the country without European prejudices. The result is a photo-book that shows Liberia not as a land of wars and crises, but as an exciting, versatile country on the move.
